This licensed centre provides quality child care on an occasional basis for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age.

The Bankstown Occasional Care centre is located at 80 Restwell Street, Bankstown, NSW 2200 (see map below).

Operating Hours:
9.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, including school holidays. There is a shut down period over the Christmas break, usually from the last Thursday before Christmas Day and reopening around the third Monday of January.
Services:
Staffed by experienced and qualified child care workers, the Bankstown Occasional Care provides occasional care to enable parents to shop, attend appointments, or just take a break from parenting.
Places:
Bankstown Occasional Care is licensed to cater for the care of up to 5 children under the age of 2, and 10 children aged 2-5 years, at any one time.
The service gives priority to families residing within the Bankstown Local Government Area.
Bookings:
Bookings for occasional care can be made up to two weeks in advance. Bookings are taken on a ‘first in first served’ basis.
First Booking?
Families wishing to use the service for the first time are required to complete an Enrolment Form. This can be done by making an appointment and visiting the centre for a brief orientation to the service. At the orientation you will be required to provide certain essential information, including contact details, emergency contact details and consents, a copy of the child’s immunisation record, a copy of any current family court orders relating to the child, details of any special needs (e.g. health, diet).
Fees:
The Centre is partially funded by the NSW Department of Community Services and fees charged to families attending the service. Fees are charged on an hourly basis or part thereof. The hourly rate is payable at the end of the care period, when the child is picked up.
